STEVE AND THE BEANSTALK

                                                   STEVE AND THE BEANSTALK

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Steve who lived in a
small wooden house with his mother. They were very poor.

One day, Steve's mother asked him to go to the market to sell their
cow, who was too old to produce milk.

Steve walked to the market to sell their cow. He saw a magic bean
                       stand.

Steve decided to trade the cow for the magic beans.

Steve raced home to tell his mother. His mother was not happy.

Steve was upset. He walked to his favourite spot in the forest and sat
down. He looked around him. There weren't many trees in one spot,
so he decided to plant the magic beans he had gotten. Then he went
                  to bed.

The next morning, when Steve woke up, he quickly ate his breakfast
and hurried over to where he had planted the magic beans. The bean
stalk towered high above him, reaching into the clouds. Steve began
                   to climb.

Steve saw a HUGE castle and a HUGE door. He broke into the castle
                    and started down the hall.

The sight was almost too much for poor Steve. Diamonds and gold
                     were everywhere!

Steve gathered the gems and turned the corner. He saw a giant table.

On top of that giant table was a giant spoon, a giant bowl, a giant
                      knife and... A GIANT HAND!

Steve ran for his life down the steps to the giant castle, down the
beanstalk, all the way to his little house.

His mother was overjoyed at the jewels and they both lived happily ever after.
